Garage Conversion & Extension – Portlethen
McGregor Garrow Architects were employed from conception to completion. During the Feasibility Study, we looked into various design options and once a preferred design/layout was chosen, we obtained a cost estimation for the building work. Once the client was happy to move ahead, we obtained the Planning and Building Warrant approvals from the council. We then arranged a competitive Tender, with local builders providing fixed tender costs to carry out the works. Having appointed the chosen builder, McGregor Garrow Architects carried out regular inspections during the construction phase, ensuring the building was built as per the contract, as well as acting as contract Administrator.
