Feasibility Study – The First Stage of any Building Project

We are always excited when someone contacts us about a new project. It is satisfying to help people achieve what they may have been considering for a number of years. The first step is to arrange a free consultation, to discuss what you are looking to do. We run through the different stages required, and answer any questions you may have. After the consultation, we normally provide an offer to carry out a Feasibility Study, typically for a fixed price.

Feasibility Study

Most include the following services:

MEASUREMENT SURVEY – The first stage is usually a survey, to record the existing building and external spaces.

DRAWINGS – We produce AutoCAD drawings of the existing and proposed layouts, based on initial discussions. We like to give our clients options, even when they have clear vision. Once ideas are on paper, there can be many solutions, we can advise what is likely to work best.

VISUALISATIONS – 3D images of the proposed works really help visualise the finished project, both externally and internally.

OVERALL PROJECT COSTS – Once a design is agreed, we normally obtain a cost estimation from a trusted contractor or quantity surveyor. This allows us to report likely project costs including our fees for each stage, application fees, and engineer’s fees.

This package gives our clients the confidence to progress to the next stage with their projects.
